What is the Cricut cartridge port for?
Cricut cartridges are sets of images and fonts that are related by a theme, like Halloween, the beach, or springtime. Now you are able to link these cartridges, or image sets, with your Cricut ID, and access them online through Cricut Design Space (Explore series) or Cricut Craft Room (Expression series).
Are Cricut cartridges still available?
Cricut recently announced that they are retiring all physical cartridges. This means that you will only be able to use your Cricut machines for new digital cartridges ONLY through the Cricut Craft Room (older Cricut machines)* or the Design Space software (Cricut Explore and Maker machines).
Are Cricut cartridges universal?
Answer: All cartridges launched after August 1, 2013 will be compatible with the universal overlay. All of these new cartridges will not be packaged with an overlay in the box. Instead you will need to purchase the NEW Universal Overlay (once) and it will be used with all of the new cartridges.
Is Cricut explore AIR 2 Being discontinued?
Legacy machines that aren’t being sold anymore include Cricut Gypsy, Cricut Cake, Cricut Personal, Cricut Expression, and the Cricut Expression 2. These machines are no longer supported by Cricut. The original Cricut Explore, Cricut Explore One, and Cricut Explore Air were discontinued as well.

Find your font. I always recommend using a site that has commercial use fonts.
Can I use downloaded fonts?
1) You can do so by opening Windows 10 Settings, clicking on Personalization, and then clicking on the Fonts tab. 2) Once downloaded, the font may or may not be packed into a zip file. 3) After extraction (or accessing the file at its downloaded destination), right-click on the file and select Install. That’s it!
Where to get fonts?
1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the Personalization icon. 2. Click/tap on Fonts on the left side, and click/tap on the Get more fonts in the Store link on the right side. (see screenshot below) 3. The Microsoft Store app will now open directly to Fonts. Click/tap on an available font you want to “Get” and install.
