In addition to First Amendment issues, it’s critical that students are aware of their rights when interacting with law enforcement. This lack of knowledge is significant not only in the potential case of a student’s future arrest, but also if a student was called for jury duty, among other potential scenarios.
What are our rights as a student?
It is the right of every student to get proper guidance and during school; they can get the best advice from their teachers. Leadership and Team participation – Students should be given equal rights to participate in activities at school, be it sports, academics, extracurricular.

Student responsibility occurs when students take an active part in their learning by recognizing they are accountable for their academic success. It is demonstrated when they make choices & take actions which lead them towards their goal of education.

The First Amendment prohibits government-compelled speech, which means that a school cannot force a student to express support for a particular view.
