How do you deal with disrespectful grandchildren?

Be firm and stick to what you said you would do so that the children know that you’re serious. You can also try ignoring them completely when they are disrespectful to you until they apologize. One of the most fundamental rules of living is that every person must respect those older than them.

How do I get my grandchildren to behave?

  1. Love Them Unconditionally. Our community members frequently mentioned the importance of showing unconditional love for the grandchildren, even if they have a temper tantrum, misbehave or make a mess.

How old are my grandsons and my granddaughters?

My beautiful granddaughter and two beautiful grandsons, I love them more than anything in this world, one grandson and my granddaughter has been adopted out, my 11 1/2 year old grandson has been in 18 plus foster homes, our wonderful government that has too much power didn’t think my daughter could raise them.

I have a grandson I have seen once when he was 3, he is soon to be 10. He has an older sister and the last time I saw her she was 4. My son and I always had a good relationship until he “fell in love” with the woman who would eventually become the mother of his children. Their relationship was very rocky for several years.
