Unless your landlord has you sign a separate contract other than your tenancy agreement stating it’s up to you to shovel the snow, it will be up to the landlords to keep up with snow and ice maintenance. In some cities, they will be required to shovel in 12 hours’ time after accumulation, and some 24 hours.

Are tenants responsible for snow removal Ontario?

Under section 26 of Ontario Regulation 517, exterior common areas must be maintained by the landlord and this includes removing noxious weeds and any unsafe accumulation of ice and snow.
