What does Statement of Account mean on CRA?

The Statement of Account is a document you can print out from the CRA My Account website. It is a detailed transaction listing showing charges and payments made to/from your CRA account, resulting in your current balance.

Why does my CRA account say error?

If you tried to enter your CRA security code after the expiry date shown on your letter, you will get an error message. Call our Individual tax enquiries to have a new CRA security code issued to you.

What ERR 018?

The user ID and/or password you entered are not correct. Have compared security settings on both browsers, have tried Firefox, IE, etc.. but same error from RDS. Any ideas as to where I can look or has anyone else had this before?

How long does it take for the CRA to verify your account?

Validation takes up to 4 weeks from the date we receive your additional information. If your situation is more complex and the information you provide is not clear or documents are missing, it may take up to 8 weeks.

How do I get my CRA statement?

Canadians can quickly access a proof of income statement anytime!

  1. Log into My Account and click on “Proof of income statement (option C print)” to view and print your proof of income statement.
  2. Use the MyCRA mobile app to send a request to the CRA to mail you a printed copy of your proof of income statement.

How do I check my CRA balance?
