Is Doniford Bay a sandy beach?

Doniford is a mud and sand beach with plenty of rocks and rock pools containing numerous fossils. All facilities in the village and a well-hidden car park right by the beach. Access is through Watchet.

We do offer all our guests 30 minutes of free WiFi per day, per device.

Do you get WiFi at Haggerston Castle?

This is available from now, and offers separate packages depending on the length of time you may require the Wi-Fi for. To access this, all you need to do is connect to Haven_Wifi network as normal and then open your internet browser which should display this screen below.

Can I upgrade my caravan at Haven?

You can select the location that is best for you. Sometimes the only caravans available are of a higher grade. If you fancy a little more space, you can upgrade for an additional fee.

Can you swim in the sea at Doniford bay?

The beach at Doniford Bay is a rocky/ shingle beach this is excellent for fossil hunting and rockpooling. You also have the option of Blue Anchor or Dunster beaches which are also fairly sandy and only a 5 – 10 minute drive from the park. If you have any further question please do call on 01984 632423.

Is there a sandy beach at Watchet?

A long sandy beach sprinkled with alabaster rocks. A great place for finding fossils or building sandcastles. The long promenade on the water front offers a pleasant walk, with two lovely cafes and a pub within easy access.

Can you swim at Kilve Beach?

If you are looking for somewhere with sand where you can go for a swim and get an ice cream, don’t go to Kilve Beach. Instead, what you will find is a treasure trove of wonderful geology, fascinating rock pools for beachcombing and a mass of fossils just waiting to be discovered.

Can you camp at Doniford Bay?

We do not allow gazebos, pup tents, awnings with annexes and sleeping in awnings. The holidays we offer have been designed with families and couples in mind. Therefore bookings by persons 21 years of age or under are not accepted unless they are a family booking. Bookings by groups of singles are not accepted.
