Last week, PBS launched free online streaming of 88 member stations, giving cord-cutting viewers an alternative to free, but sometimes iffy over-the-air reception and Google’s GOOGL +1.1% $65/month YouTube TV streaming service.

The PBS channel is available on most Roku 2 models and newer. It should be noted that Passport is not optimized for smart TVs, though we do offer an app for smart TVs using the Android operating system. The PBS Video App is also available on Samsung Smart TV models listed above.
