Registration

For all new registrations for the Congress, please visit the registration desk when you arrive.

All persons planning to attend the Congress must complete a Registration Form.  Please read the registration information below before you complete the online Registration Form.  Should you experience any difficulties please, please see the registration desk staff when you arrive onsite.

Registration fees listed above are in Australian Dollars (A$) and inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

Registration rates containing lunch include bottled water, soft drink or juice along with a wrap, piece of fruit and muffin, all in a handy lunch box.

*To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 21 May 2016.

** Online registrations will not be available after 19 August but registration will be possible on-site at the registration desk at the Congress venue.

***FAIS Country Registration
This registration type is available to people from countries whose immunological societies comprise the Federation of African Immunological Societies and who are members of one of these societies.

Please note:  A copy of a document from your National Society SG or President attesting that you are a regular member of the society must be sent to the Congress Managers via email to ici2016@arinex.com.au or via fax to +61 3 9417 0899. Without this copy of this document copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

****Student Registration
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. 

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Congress Managers via email to ici2016@arinex.com.au or via fax to +61 3 9417 0899. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Entitlements

The registration fee for all registration types entitles delegates to the following:

  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception (Sunday 21 August 2016)
  • All sessions from Monday 22 August – Friday 26 August 2016
  • Admittance to exhibition
  • Satchel containing official Congress information
  • Delegate list
  • Name badge with pocket program
  • Conference program book
  • Access to an electronic pdf listing of all abstracts
  • Certificate of attendance

Procedure

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be confirmed on full payment of fees due.

Name badge

Registrants will receive a name badge on-site from the registration desk at the Congress venue.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times during the Congress to obtain entry to all sessions and social functions.  The Congress Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Certificate of Attendance

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all attendees via email after the completion of the Congress.

Group Registration

Group registration is offered when a single entity registers ten (10) or more participants.  To enquire about a group registration please email the Congress Managers at ici2016@arinex.com.au 

Group registration is available to assist organisations wishing to send multiple participants to the Congress.  A list of participants must be nominated when submitting the group registration form but can be changed.  The final list of participants must be emailed to the Congress Managers fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the Congress. 

An invoice will be issued for group registrations and payment can be made using the options listed below. Please note that registration fees for group registrations will be those applicable for the date of payment of the registration fees.

Private Touring, Private Functions, Hospitality Arrangements

Should you have any requirements for private touring, private functions, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Congress Managers at ici2016@arinex.com.au  who will be pleased to assist with arrangements.

Please notify the Congress Managers at ici2016@arinex.com.au of any planned events outside of the official Congress program that might impact the Congress and social events.

Payment options

Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card, BPAY or Electronic Transfer.

Credit Card

Payment by credit card is the preferred method of payment. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express.  Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Sydney’.

Other Payment Options:  If you are unable to pay by credit card please contact the organisers for assistance via ici2016@arinex.com.au 

Cancellation and refund

Cancellations must be notified to the Congress Managers by email ici2016@arinex.com.au.

Cancellation Fees:
Cancellations received before 11 May 2016 will incur an A$150.00 fee.
Cancellations received between 12 May and 06 July 2016 will receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid.
Cancellations after 06 July 2016 will not be refunded.

Accommodation:
One night’s deposit must be paid at the time of booking to guarantee reservation.
Deposit is non-refundable from 18 July 2016.
Deposit will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked.

Tickets for Social Functions:
Payments are non-refundable from 18 July 2016.
